California City posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They breezed by Boron at home to the tune of 72-25.
California City's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carlito Brown led the charge by scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds. Brown continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played. Darrius Brown was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
In what's become a running theme this season, Rosamond gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Mammoth 82-48 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-16.
Rosamond can attribute much of their success to Andrew Arredondo, who scored 20 points, and Fabian Robles, who scored 29 points. Arredondo has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Gomez, who scored ten points.
