While Wheeler's win against Tremont wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Wheeler skirted past Tremont 3-2. Wheeler has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Tremont on Tuesday, too.

Sam Johnson was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

The victory snapped Wheeler's losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 5-8 record. As for Tremont, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Wheeler will have a chance to go back-to-back against Tremont: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
