The West Seneca East Trojans won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Lake Shore, falling 61-16. West Seneca East was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-9.
Taylor Pych was West Seneca East's leading scorer, having posted seven points.
Hailey Alba held things down on the boards with ten rebounds.
West Seneca East has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Lake Shore, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
West Seneca East will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Billies at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. Lake Shore does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
