Stewarts Creek came out on top against Hendersonville by a score of 45-32. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Stewarts Creek.
Camden Ward was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. The game was her third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Layla Wilder, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Stewarts Creek has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Hendersonville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stewarts Creek will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th. As for Hendersonville, they will square off against Green Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Green Hill is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
