In what's become a running theme this season, the Ada-Borup Cougars gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They breezed by Lake Park-Audubon on the road to the tune of 66-30. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Ada-Borup has posted yet this season.
Ada-Borup got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cameron Spaeth out in front who scored 17 points along with five assists and two steals. Spaeth hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Austin McCraven was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
Ada-Borup's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Lake Park-Audubon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ada-Borup won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Nevis at 5:00 p.m. on January 19th. Nevis knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 11 contests -- so hopefully Ada-Borup likes a good challenge. As for Lake Park-Audubon, they will be playing at home against Fosston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
