The Kootenai Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 61-32 loss at the hands of Highland. Kootenai was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-9.
Highland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hunter Hix, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hix has scored all season. Noah Watson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two blocks.
Kootenai dropped their record down to 1-12 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Highland, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-6.
Kootenai didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-31 defeat vs. Clark Fork on the 10th. Highland has also already played their next match, a 80-46 defeat against Troy on the 10th.
