Highland is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Miller School of Albemarle is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Hawks will welcome the Mavericks at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Highland 2.8, Miller School of Albemarle 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Highland's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. Everything went their way against Woodberry Forest as they made off with an 8-0 win. Considering the Hawks have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
