Shawnee came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Meridian Bobcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Tuesday.

Shawnee easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-9.

Shawnee's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Meridian, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.

Looking ahead, Shawnee will take on Dongola at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Meridian, they will head out on the road to square off against Pope County at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
