Johnathan Schroeder Delivers Best Effort of Season
Johnathan Schroeder produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Oxford to the win on Friday. Schroeder rushed for 188 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 155 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
The win (which was Oxford's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Schroeder and Oxford will head out on the road to challenge Udall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Cordell Jordan Dazzles in Oxford Win
Another Oxford player making an appearance on this list is Cordell Jordan. He rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 64 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Jordan might have his next game, a home matchup with Udall, circled on his calendar. When Jordan last faced the Eagles back in October of 2023, he rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Koop Posts Huge Game in 56-0 Win
Creyo Koop was instrumental in extending West Elk's winning streak to six on Friday. Koop did his part (and then some), rushing for 118 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, while also catching a touchdown for the 'W'. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last six games he's played dating back to last season.
Unfortunately for Sedan, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Koop. Koop rushed for 189 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 99 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Devils duked it out back in September of 2023.

Trent Haag and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Trent Haag was instrumental in extending West Elk's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Haag as he threw for 97 yards and three touchdowns on perfect 5-for-5 passing, and also rushed for 55 yards on only five carries.
Unfortunately for Sedan, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Haag. Haag rushed for 78 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns while completing 92.3% of his passes the last time he and the Devils duked it out back in September of 2023.

Carson Vineyard Rounds Out Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Carson Vineyard of Argonia/Attica. Vineyard rushed for 128 yards, and also threw for 82 yards and a touchdown on only six passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 128 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Argonia/Attica moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. Vineyard and Argonia/Attica will welcome Ashland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
