Raleigh's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Pelahatchie Chiefs 6-5. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Ryder Ivy was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Cody Moseley was another key player, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Raleigh's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Pelahatchie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Raleigh will take on Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bearcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.28 runs per game on average), something the Lions will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Pelahatchie, they will host Scott Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rebels have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12 runs per game on average), something the Chiefs will no doubt try to take advantage of.
