Fruitdale scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 136-10 win over Millry at home. That 126 points margin sets a new team best for Fruitdale this season.
Genna Ivy continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 5-for-8 from downtown and dropping a double-double on 30 points and 11 steals. She has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times she's played. Annie Holland was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Satsuma suffered their biggest loss since December 16, 2023 on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 55-27 loss at the hands of Jackson. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Satsuma in their matchups with Jackson: they've now lost four in a row.
Fruitdale's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Satsuma, they dropped their record down to 2-12 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
Fruitdale suffered a grim 66-42 defeat to Satsuma when the teams last played back in December of 2022. Can Fruitdale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
