Midway extended the longest winning streak in Western Missouri this week by beating Archie, 55-0. This was the team's 10th consecutive win.
Midway led the league in scoring this week by notching 55 points on the Whirlwinds.
Trevor Dean provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Osceola defeated Appleton City. Dean's favorite target this week was Dallas Self, who caught 3 passes for 63 yards.
Jacob Thompson was the best wideout in the league this week as Rich Hill fell to Skyline. Thompson racked up 6 receptions for 73 yards. Riley Cameron helped Rich Hill's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 35 yards.
5-foot-10 quarterback Dakota Jones of Archie is the league leader in passing yards this season with 866. He has also thrown 6 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Thompson. The Rich Hill star has 36 catches for 532 yards.
A big matchup in Western Missouri this week will be when Drexel takes on the Vikings. At the moment, the Bobcats are in third, while Midway is in first.
Drexel made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 8,472 from 9,500. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 40-14 victory over Adrian last week.
