Everything came up roses for Plainville against Ellis on Friday as the squad secured a 41-0 win. Followers of Plainville probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Junior Jordan Finnesy was the offensive standout of the match for Plainville, as he passed for 204 yards and 3 touchdowns. If you haven't heard Finnesy's name lately, then you haven't been paying much attention: he has loomed large in their past three games. Junior Jared Casey was in the mix, too, providing Plainville with two touchdowns.
The victory was the 3rd in a row for Plainville, as they raised their record to 5-2. The defeat dropped Ellis' record to 2-5.
Next week Plainville take on Oakley at 7:00 PM. Ellis will look to defend their home turf against LaCrosse at 7:00 PM.
