Cumberland can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They put the hurt on the Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] Titans with a sharp 8-2 victory. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Titans, too.

Mia Holsapple spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits. Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season.
