Everything went their way against Yantis on Friday as Sulphur Bluff made off with a 54-31 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Sulphur Bluff has posted against Yantis since December 17, 2021.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sulphur Bluff to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zaylee Peyton, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. Ana Servin was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Sulphur Bluff's win bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Yantis, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-18.
Sulphur Bluff will head out on the road to face off against Avery at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Yantis, they will be playing at home against Saltillo at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Saltillo is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
