Even though NG led by 23 points entering the fourth quarter, it poured the points on, scoring 21 in the fourth.
Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, N.C.) came in surrendering 16.9 points per game this season. The Cougars struggled against the Greensboro school, which came in averaging 36.5 points per game.
The defeat comes as a step back for Charlotte Catholic, which notched a 55-19 victory over Statesville in its previous outing.
In its next matchup Charlotte Catholic (13-2) will take on Northern Guilford in a playoff game. The Nighthawks will bring a record of 14-0 into the meeting.
