West Union can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent  match  in their first game  on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Vardaman Rams  a   16-0 shutout. The  victory was just what West Union needed coming off of  a  7-1 defeat in their prior  contest.
  Addison Collum made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Collum has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Collum was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with a  double.
 In other batting news,  Lucy Jumper was  incredible,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 4-for-4.  Kaylee Crawley was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
 West Union is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven games,  which provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record  this season. As for Vardaman, they dropped their record down to 6-16-1 with that  loss, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 West Union didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  12-2  win vs. Bruce on the 13th. As for Vardaman, they will head out on the road to  square off against  Water Valley at 6:30  p.m.  on Monday. Vardaman is facing Water Valley at the right time seeing as Water Valley is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
