Garrett Allen posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). The effort also marked the fewest walks (zero) he has had since back in March of 2024.

Allen and Notre Dame Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against Higley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sadly, Allen's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Notre Dame Prep's 12-game streak of wins at home.
