After a string of five wins, the Farmington Knights's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. The game between Farmington and Central wasn't particularly close, with Farmington falling 78-61. Farmington has not had much luck with Central recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Leading Central to victory were Caden Casey and Jobe Bryant. Casey scored 29 points, while Bryant dropped a triple-double on 23 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists. The game was Bryant's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Braydon Berry was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds.
Farmington's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Central, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1.
Farmington and Seckman will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Seckman will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 201st, while Farmington is ranked 85th). As for Central, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Potosi at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th.
