The Greendale Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Greenfield Hustlin' Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Last Saturday, Greendale had to suffer through a rough 75-45 loss at the hands of the Hawks. While losing is never fun, Greendale can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Hawks are ranked 27th).
Despite the defeat, Greendale had strong showings from Macey St Lawrence, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 rebounds, and Greta Dombrowski, who scored 15 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was ashawnti strong, who scored six points.
Meanwhile, Greenfield stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past Shorewood, posting a 76-34 victory at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Greenfield.
Greendale has not been sharp recently as the team's lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for Greenfield, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6.
