Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the West Jones Mustangs walked away with it. They took their contest on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 42-13 win over the Maroon Tide. West Jones' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
West Jones' victory bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Picayune, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-3.
West Jones is on the road again on Friday and play against Grenada at 7:00 p.m. on December 1st. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Grenada: 13, West Jones: 5.8) so any points scored will be well earned. Picayune does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
