The Tupper Lake Lumberjacks can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Chateaugay 73-38 at home. The victory was nothing new for Tupper Lake as they're now sitting on four straight.
Tupper Lake's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Michael Corneau led the charge by scoring 23 points along with six rebounds and five assists. Another player making a difference was Thomas Peterson, who scored 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Tupper Lake pushed their record up to 14-3 with that victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Chateaugay, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Tupper Lake will head out on the road to face off against the Cougars at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Edwards-Knox is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak. As for Chateaugay, they will be playing at home against the Colts at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Colton-Pierrepont has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
