East Jessamine got themselves on the board against Lincoln County on Wednesday, but Lincoln County never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Patriots. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Remie Smith made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). Smith was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

In other batting news, East Jessamine let Kylee Oliver and Natalie Alimento run wild. Oliver went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Alimento went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Oliver has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Alex Smith, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

East Jessamine's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Lincoln County, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: East Jessamine beat the Patriots by a score of 13-0 later that day.
