West Broward won the last time they faced Cardinal Gibbons and things went their way on Monday too. The Bobcats walked away with a 49-38 victory over the Chiefs. The win was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on four straight.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Broward to victory, but perhaps none more so than Daquan Adderley, who rushed for 141 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.8 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Amos Bradford, who rushed for 173 yards and one score on only 15 carries.

West Broward's run defense was locked in: Cardinal Gibbons could only muster 1.1 yards per carry. The team can thank Zacari Isaac for the heroic effort on defense: he. West Broward didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 9.8.

West Broward didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Uryah Mc Cartney and Larry Freelove. Freelove also made five total tackles, which is notable because West Broward is undefeated when he posts at least three total tackles, but 1-2 otherwise.

Cardinal Gibbons' loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jayden Torres, who threw for 394 yards and four TDs, and Merrick Todich, who picked up 152 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Todich showed off some serious burst, lighting up the secondary with a catch for 68 yards. A healthy portion of Torres' aerial production (114 yards to be exact) also went to Gary Hadley Jr..

West Broward's record now sits at 4-2. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they moved to 3-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

West Broward will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Miami Beach at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Cardinal Gibbons, they have already played their next matchup, a 51-14 win against Hallandale on the 3rd.
