The University Bulldogs put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Strasburg by a score of 46-34. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points University has scored all year.
University was led to victory by Natalie Moore and Addison Harding. Moore scored 16 points along with five rebounds, while Harding dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. The match was Moore's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Natalie Trujillo, who scored two points along with six assists.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Peighton Marrero, who scored ten points. Graecy Graf was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
University's win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Strasburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
University's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Holy Family at 5:30 p.m. on December 14th. One thing working in Holy Family's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Strasburg is on the road again on Saturday and play against Eaton at 1:30 p.m. on December 16th. Eaton is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
