The Chesterton Academy Saints will take on the Coronado Leopards at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Chesterton Academy suffered their biggest loss since December 21, 2023 on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Hozho Academy, falling 71-35. Chesterton Academy was down 57-20 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 65 points the game before, Coronado were a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 76-14 loss at the hands of Legacy Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Coronado has scored all season.
Chesterton Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Coronado, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.
Chesterton Academy came up short against Coronado in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 38-26. Can Chesterton Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
