The Water Valley Wildcats lost against the McCamey Badgers back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Water Valley took a 36-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of McCamey.
Grant Glidewell was his usual excellent self, throwing for 228 yards and five touchdowns while completing 82.4% of his passes, and also rushing for 129 yards. Glidewell hasn't dropped below three passing touchdowns for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Edgar Quinonez, who picked up 86 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Water Valley's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. As for McCamey, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
Water Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. McCamey will look to defend their home field on Friday against Iraan at 7:30 p.m.
