Owasso has gone a perfect 5-0 against Edmond Santa Fe recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Rams are taking a road trip to take on the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Owasso is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
Owasso is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Oklahoma's top teams: Edmond Memorial, who was ranked sixth at the time (Owasso was ranked third). The Rams came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 31-21 on Thursday. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Rams were the (much) better team in the second half.

Jayden Hall produced another solid performance rushing for 163 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his eighth straight game with at least 117 rushing yards dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Frankenfield, who rushed for 35 yards and one score.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Owasso proved: they limited Edmond Memorial to a paltry 0.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Carter Langenderfer for the heroic effort on defense: he. Owasso didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.4.
Owasso's defense didn't let Dawson Beaulieu, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Chris Zaferes, Kam Miller, and Myzel Mackson, who each picked up one sack apiece. Owasso got some further help from AJ Roberts Jr: he made nine total tackles and snagged an interception which he returned for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Edmond Santa Fe, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. Everything went their way against Westmoore on Thursday as they made off with a 41-20 win. With the Wolves ahead 28-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Edmond Santa Fe didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Devontae Sartin led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Jaelin Battle was another major factor on D, picking up 5.5 sacks, making eight total tackles (7.0 for loss), and defending one pass.
Owasso's record is now 5-2. As for Edmond Santa Fe, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
Owasso didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Edmond Santa Fe in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 31-27 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Wolves' Demarius Robinson, who rushed for 200 yards and four TDs. Now that he won't be playing on Friday, will it be easier for the Rams to walk away with another win? Check MaxPreps.com after the match to find out.
