This season hasn't been kind to the Forestview Jaguars, who are still winless after their fourth game. They suffered a rough 74-51 loss at the hands of North Lincoln on Wednesday. Forestview lost against North Lincoln in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 61-54 score last time.
Kellen Karr had a dynamite game for North Lincoln, shooting 6-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropping a double-double on 36 points and 10 rebounds. Ty Sanders was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 5 assists.
Forestview's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-4. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for North Lincoln, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forestview will take on Bessemer City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Lincoln, they will be playing at home against Lake Norman at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Norman will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
