Leading IDEA Bluff Springs to victory were Hope Saenz and Samantha Saucedo-Palencia. Saenz scored 21 points along with eight rebounds, while Saucedo-Palencia scored 23 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Saucedo-Palencia has scored at least a third of IDEA Bluff Springs' points. Crystonna Wise was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five rebounds.
IDEA Bluff Springs pushed their record up to 7-3 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 39.67 points. As for IDEA Montopolis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-4.
IDEA Bluff Springs will head out on the road to challenge Wayside: Sci-Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for IDEA Montopolis, they will be playing at home against Valor South Austin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Valor South Austin has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three matches.
