Newnan has gone a perfect 3-0 against Pope recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Cougars will take on the Greyhounds at 11:00 a.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Newnan sitting on three straight victories and Pope on four.
Newnan is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Kennesaw Mountain.
The final score came out to 25-9, 25-21, 25-14.

Newnan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sarah Frank out in front who had 18 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Frank has posted since back in August. Gray Goldenberg was another key player, getting eight digs and five aces.
Meanwhile, Pope got the win against Lee County on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Pope took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-9, 25-11.
Newnan better focus on containing Wynnie Abney and Jahan Lalli as the pair were huge in Pope's win. Abney had 12 digs and five aces, while Lalli had four digs, two aces, and one block. Lalli is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 23 or more in each of the last six games she's played.
Pope was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive contests.
Newnan's record is now 32-13. As for Pope, their record now sits at 29-8.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's match: Newnan has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.7 aces per game. However, it's not like Pope struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.7 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
