Williamsville North had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 38-7 defeat at the hands of the Fredonia Hillbillies on Thursday. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
Natalia DiPalma produced another solid performance rushing for 200 yards and three scores on only 15 carries for Fredonia. The team also got some help courtesy of Sophia Utegg, who rushed for 46 yards and a pair of TDs.
Fredonia pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.
Williamsville North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fredonia, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Health Sciences Charter at 1:00 p.m.
