Football Recap: Make It Nine in a Row for East Robertson

East Robertson put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 32-16 win over the Greenwood Gators.

East Robertson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cade Brooks led the charge by picking up 188 receiving yards and three touchdowns. With that strong performance, Brooks is now averaging an impressive 107 receiving yards per game. Kason Young was another key passer, throwing for 292 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.3 yards per attempt.

East Robertson's record is now 9-0. As for Greenwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Looking ahead, East Robertson will square off against East Nashville Magnet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests. As for Greenwood, they will face off against Union County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
