Bluegrass United has not had much luck with Louisville Saints HomeSchool recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Jeremiah Stiefel and Caleb Burnett certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Stiefel scored nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Burnett scored 14 points. Eli Anderson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with 13 rebounds.
Louisville Saints HomeSchool's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from John Omer, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Hartman, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds.
Bluegrass United has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-12 record this season. As for Louisville Saints HomeSchool, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-6.
Bluegrass United's road trip will continue as they head out to face Thomas Nelson at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th. Thomas Nelson is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Louisville Saints HomeSchool, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Christian Educational Consortium at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Christian Educational Consortium focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Saturday.
