Hampshire has won four straight games at home, while Central has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Whip-Purs will host the Rockets at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Hampshire 3.2, Central 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
On Saturday, Hampshire got the win against Conant by a conclusive 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Whip-Purs, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Hampshire got a great performance from Anthony Karbowski as he struck out ten batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.

Hampshire is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-7 record this season. Central's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Hampshire hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .312. It's a different story for Central, though, as they've only averaged .254. Will they be able to contain Hampshire's hitters?
Everything went Hampshire's way against Central in their previous matchup on Friday, as Hampshire made off with a 7-0 win. Do the Whip-Purs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rockets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
