Pascagoula posted their biggest victory since February 27, 2024 on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Moss Point Tigers with a sharp 18-1 win. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won five in a row.

Pascagoula let Ke'Asjah Moore and Ty'Mia Bell run wild. Moore went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs, while Bell scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. What's more, Bell posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Anneleese Rabon, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and three RBI.

Pascagoula kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now hit at least nine hits every time they've taken the field this season.

Pascagoula's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Moss Point, their loss was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pascagoula will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Biloxi at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Moss Point, they will welcome Forrest County Agricultural at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
