Fort Lupton has been on the road for three straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the KIPP Denver Collegiate White Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Lupton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 431 points over their last six matchups.
Even though Middle Park scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, Fort Lupton still came out on top. Fort Lupton enjoyed a cozy 76-60 win over Middle Park.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fort Lupton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Shane Callahan, who scored 26 points along with nine assists and eight steals. Callahan has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Guillaume Nkiadiambu, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds.
Meanwhile, KIPP Denver Collegiate came up short against Arrupe Jesuit on Tuesday and fell 47-36. KIPP Denver Collegiate has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Fort Lupton pushed their record up to 12-1 with that win, which was their 14th straight on the road. As for KIPP Denver Collegiate, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Everything went Fort Lupton's way against KIPP Denver Collegiate in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as Fort Lupton made off with a 68-46 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was KIPP Denver Collegiate's Kamil Abdul, who scored 19 points. Now that he won't be playing on Thursday, will it be that much easier for Fort Lupton to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
