Basketball Recap: Braddock Sets Scoring Season-High Against Pompano Beach

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Braddock). They were the clear victor by a 67-47 margin over the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bulldogs have posted since December 20, 2024.

Braddock got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ray Estay out in front who dropped a triple-double on 11 points, 12 boards, and ten assists. Those ten assists gave Estay a new career-high. Luca De La Paz was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to seven rebounds and five steals.

Braddock smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

The victory snapped Braddock's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-11 record. As for Pompano Beach, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Braddock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-67 win against Hialeah Gardens on the 14th. Pompano Beach has also already played their next match (against Hallandale), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
