McNeil is a perfect 5-0 against Manor since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The McNeil Mavericks will face off against the Manor Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for McNeil and 20 for Manor.

McNeil is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Cedar Ridge on Friday. McNeil fell 4-2 to Cedar Ridge.

Qiana Romero and Ally Weir scored both of McNeil's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Manor's offense. They came up short against Vista Ridge on Friday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 606th, while the Rangers are ranked 158th).

McNeil's loss dropped their record down to 7-10-2. As for Manor, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-21.

McNeil took their victory against Manor when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 13-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for McNeil since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
