Bangor is 10-0 against Brookwood since February of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Last Friday, Bangor blew past Necedah, posting a 72-30 win on the road. The win was just what Bangor needed coming off of a 72-50 loss in their prior matchup.
Chase Horstman was on fire: he dropped a double-double on 20 points and 17 rebounds. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Garrett Brezany, who scored 19 points.
Meanwhile, Brookwood came up short against Seneca on Tuesday and fell 76-65. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (55), Brookwood still had to take the loss.
Bangor's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Brookwood, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4.
