North Lamar proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Edgewood Bulldogs. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day North Lamar got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-17, 21-25, 25-14, 23-25, 15-10.
Their offense was headlined by Alexa Lane and Landry Spencer, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Myla Geeslin and her 18 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.
