Baseball Recap: Hillel Academy Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Hillel Academy's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Northgate Flames. This was a revenge game for the Heat: when they faced off against the Flames back in March, they had to take a 14-3 defeat.

Levi Greenfield was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs and one RBI. Those four runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Itskowitz, who went 1-for-5 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Hillel Academy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4. As for Northgate, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-14.

Hillel Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 7-1 victory against Fuchs Mizrachi on the 4th. As for Northgate, they will head out to square off against Laurel at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Flames are facing the Spartans at the right time seeing as the Spartans are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
