There's no place like home for the Tri-Valley Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 75-61 win over Kutztown on Saturday. Given Tri-Valley's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while Kutztown is ranked 657th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Noah Porter continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 23 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Caden Leonard was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with three steals.
Tri-Valley pushed their record up to 11-1 with that victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Kutztown, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-8.
Tri-Valley will be playing at home against Weatherly at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kutztown, they will head out on the road to square off against Catasauqua at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
