Hamilton-Wenham Regional waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over Pentucket Regional. The result was nothing new for the Generals, who have now won nine contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Hamilton-Wenham Regional pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Pentucket Regional, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

Coming up, Hamilton-Wenham Regional will challenge North Reading at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Generals 2.9, the Hornets 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Pentucket Regional, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-2 win against Ipswich on the 14th.
