Scurry-Rosser put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 44-34 win over the Teague Lions. The 44-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Teague's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zak Leija, who posted eight points. Carter Stacks was another key player, putting up six points.

Scurry-Rosser's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Teague, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Scurry-Rosser Wildcats duke it out with the Kerens Bobcats at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Teague, they will host Buffalo at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Buffalo has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
