The Holland Dutch will head out on the road to challenge the Wyoming Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Holland has struggled recently with four defeats in a row, while Wyoming will arrive with nine straight victories.
Holland suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were beaten by Zeeland East 52-20.
Even though Wyoming has not done well against Reeths-Puffer recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Wyoming enjoyed a cozy 55-39 win over Reeths-Puffer.
Holland bumped their record down to 1-9 with that loss, which was their tenth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.7 points per game. As for Wyoming, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.
Holland was taken down by Wyoming 55-15 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Holland avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
