Northwest Halifax's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over the Southeast Halifax Trojans. The victory was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Northwest Halifax's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Southeast Halifax, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Northwest Halifax will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Trojans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
