The Jefferson Dragons were the 45-41 winner over the East Bay Indians when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. Jefferson suffered a rough 49-28 loss at the hands of East Bay on Wednesday. Jefferson has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Jefferson saw an underclassman step up: Damaria Pitcher scored 20 points. Pitcher scored a full 71.4% of Jefferson's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for East Bay, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.
Jefferson will head out on the road to face off against Plant at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for East Bay, they will be playing at home against Sumner at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
