Westtown has gone 10-0 against Shipley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Westtown will head out to face off against Shipley at 6:30 p.m. Shipley took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Westtown, who comes in off a win.

The win was all the more spectacular given Westtown's disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 85th in Pennsylvania, while Hun is ranked 28th in New Jersey).

Meanwhile, Shipley came up short against Abington Friends on Tuesday and fell 57-49. The defeat continues a trend for Shipley in their matchups with Abington Friends: they've now lost four in a row.

Westtown will need focus on slowing down Henry Rassmussen, one of several Shipley players who made an impact when they last played. He dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Stevie Maniatis, who posted 12 points.

Even though they lost, Shipley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Westtown's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Shipley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Westtown strolled past Shipley in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 63-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Westtown since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
