Liberty smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive games.
When it comes to explaining why Patrick County lost, don't look at Lilly G Hazelwood. Despite the final result, she posted eight points and seven rebounds. Novella Nester also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Liberty is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. Patrick County's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-13.
